This is actually her appreciation service...I talked to her last month at SMC and I asked her would it be in Detroit and she told me no. She said it was going to be in Texas because Detroit does NOT support. A Detroiter told me that TCS is not appreciated in Detroit like they are in other places (a prophet is without honor in his own home). But they told me that the girls have their own states that really support them...and for Twinkie it is Texas. For Dorinda, it's Florida, and I'm not sure about Karen.
I can't understand that, when ever the girls (altogether or separately) make history, ppl love to say "its because they from Detroit" but they can't get no love. If you don't respect your own, somebody else will!
@Mjames....SO TRUE!!! Someone else will support them!!!! And that's just what people are doing!! Dorinda said the same thing at SMC, that Detroit don't support her conference...she said the majority of the attendees are out of town guest.
She could've went back to Houston ethic girls. They would've went crazy for a Clark Sisters reuion again. In the south we go CRAZY over ppl like TCS, Roland, Marvin Sapp, kirk.

They do...and somebody said it's the same thing with the Winans too.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that people who live in Detroit don't come, some of them do, but you would just think that more people would support their own. It's the same thing with COGIC...COGIC has over 6 million members, but yet TCS, Kim Burrell, and other COGIC artist aren't selling CD's. But God is blessing TCS richly!!
yep same with Shirley Caesar in Raleigh, NC..... Her annual conf. use to pack the civic center in this area. Now she has it at her church which seats 1,200 but still....its not always full for her other events.
